Global Justice Issues (GJI)
Global Justice Issues are moral, social, and economic problems that affect people on a worldwide scale and result from inequality, injustice and unfair global systems.
These issues are connected and affect us all, everywhere in the world.
Resolving a GJI requires a redistribution of resources, wealth and power, while upholding human rights.
Global Citizenship Education (GCE) teaches about global justice issues so that we can act to build a kinder, fairer and more sustainable world.
The GJIs resources in the tiles below present a range of lessons and GCE activities curated by WWGS to help educators explore GJIs in their classrooms.
There are 9 GJIs below with more on the way in the coming year.
