Housing

Why is Housing a Global Justice Issue?

Housing is a global justice issue because of unequal access to a safe place to call home.  Housing is a precondition for access to employment, education, health, and social services, all of which are key aspects of human dignity and survival, as well as a number of human rights. Understanding housing means looking at the root causes of inequality of access. Many opportunities exist for local action and standing in solidarity with those affected by housing as a global justice issue.
