WWGS Annual Teacher Conference: ‘Stories of Solidarity’

Thank you everyone that took part in the Annual National Teacher conference ‘Stories of Solidarity’ on February 1st 2024, 10:00am in De La Salle Pastoral Centre, Castletown, R32 N6D8, Co Laois.

One of WWGS’s key guiding principles of Global Citizenship Education (GCE) is the Solidarity Approach. The conference gave plenty of space to share and learn GCE practice with other teachers and organisations and explore how we can all take a solidarity approach to our teaching and learning. We had a series of workshops, resource fair and World Cafe style sharing circles. As the venue was slightly outside Portlaoise, we organised transport from the Portlaoise train station.
