Poverty Workshop

This workshop offers input and advice on the exploration of Poverty in post-primary school.

Video Recording

The recording provides:

  • Input from Stephen McCloskey, Director of the Centre for Global Education based in Belfast, on the global justice issue of ‘Poverty’.
  • Practical advice on how to explore ‘Poverty’ through WWGS 6 step programme (approach, good resources, videos, ideas for raising awareness and taking meaningful actions etc).
  • Input/ case study from Claire Ní Chanainn, Mount Mercy College (Cork) on how they took a thematic approach to ‘Poverty’.
