STRAND 3: GLOBAL CONNECTIONS

There are 4 PowerPoints with lessons covering these Learning Outcomes. They are designed to be done
sequentially as follows:

1. PowerPoint 1 outlines what is meant by climate change mitigation and adaptation. It compares Haiti and Ireland then explores root causes of climate injustice in Haiti. Total time approx. 1 hour 30 min.
2. PowerPoint 2 has 2 lessons (approx. 1 hour each). These are case studies of climate adaptation in Uganda, Cuba and Colombia, looking at problems and solutions.
3. PowerPoint 3 explores climate debt, ecological debt and climate justice. Total time approx. 1 hour 20 min.
4. PowerPoint 4 looks at the Loss and Damage Fund. Total time approx. 1 hour 30 min.
