WWGS Grant Spending Ideas
Global Citizenship Education (GCE) grants are available to all post-primary schools/settings in Ireland. WWGS currently offers grant funding support of up to €800 per year per school. Consult the document below for eligible grant spending ideas and suggestions for GCE-linked items and services.

Competitions and Projects to Consider
ActionAid: Resources for a speech writing competition which supports students to address global challenges.
BT Young Scientists (BTYSTE): This well known competition provides many avenues to connect GCE to science work. In choosing your BTYS project, consider the WWGS Guiding Principles to frame the work.
Young Social Innovators (YSI): This is a programme which empowers young people to find solutions to real life problems. In choosing your YSI project, consider the WWGS Guiding Principles to frame the work.
