Annual Grant Call – Now Open

WorldWise Global Schools (WWGS) now invites schools and NGO’s in the post-primary sector in the Republic of Ireland to apply for funding for quality Development Education (Global Citizenship Education) activities/initiatives for the upcoming academic year.

Register Your Interest/ Get in Touch

Please register your interest to be set up for an online application form. The Grant Call workshops are designed provide you an overview of what is required from the application process. You may additionally contact a member of the team if you wish to discuss your proposed project. For NGOs and Networks we recommend you attend the grant call workshop prior to contacting a team member.

Key Grant Call Dates

  • Grant Call Open – 14th March 2018

Please ‘register your interest’ below for us to set your organisation/school up with an online application form. Once you are set up, you can go in and out of the application form until the deadline for submission.

  • Deadline for applications – 9th May 2018

All applications must be submitted online to WWGS by 5pm on Wednesday 9th May.

Application Workshops – NGO’s/ Networks

  • Grant Application Workshop (NGO/ Network only) – 28th March 2018

Potential applicants are invited to attend a Grant Application Workshop for NGO and Networks, to provide further information and guidance on completing the application process.  The workshop will take place from 2-4pm in our offices here in Parkgate Street D8.  We will also be running this via webinar. Please email for more information and to register your attendance (stating whether you will be physically attending or via webinar). 

  • Grants Webinar (NGO/Networks) – 9th April 2018 2-4pm

For those (NGO/Networks) that are unable to attend the first the physical Grants Application workshop or webinar, we are offering a second webinar option. Please email to confirm attendance. 

Application Workshops – Schools

      • Grants Webinar (schools)  Wednesday 21st March @4.30pm & Tuesday 1st May @5pm

      We will be holding an online webinar for all schools wishing to apply for the WWGS grant. We will talk potential applicants through the online process and answer any questions they have regarding our programme and grant. Please email for more information and to register your attendance.
