Formal School Policy on DE
A formal school policy on DE can be a powerful mechanism for driving DE within a school and garnering broad ranging support. Ideally the policy will include: aims, objectives, strategic priorities and a mechanism for review, evaluation and updating; and is actively referred to and implemented by all staff. In order to do this a teacher may need to take leadership to develop the policy and promote it to the managing body.
Below are some resources and practical school examples to guide you through implementing this stamp category:

“Teachers involved in delivering the TY DE module have attended the WWGS workshop on ‘Developing a DE School Policy’. Principal and BOM have encouraged the drawing up of a DE policy. This is reflected in their creation of a Post of Responsibility for DE/Zambia Partnership and timetabling it as a One Year module in TY. It is also reflected in their support for the Global Education Experience programme offered by the Presentation Sisters”. Global Special Award Winner 2016
